10:00 am - 2:00 pm
Come see the OWLs during a hosted viewing session! Join Midpeninsula Regional Open Space District staff, docents, and Look Ahead-San Mateo project team members for “Adopt an OWL Day” to take a virtual reality tour of sea level change though the OWL viewfinders.
See first-hand what a rising sea level could look like, how the county is responding, and ideas for responding to more dramatic sea level rise in the future. At one of these events, visitors can speak with members of the project team about questions they have about the visualizations, the impact these have had elsewhere in the region, and the work the County hopes to do in raising awareness about this issue.
These days will be held at the OWL viewers in Coyote Point Recreation Area (next to Boardsports California) from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. on the following Saturdays:
- September 17
- October 22
- November 5
- November 19
- December 3
