The San Mateo County Sea Change team is leading a King Tides & Coffee event to inform the public about how king tides can help visualize future flooding risks in the County. County of San Mateo staff and South San Francisco City representatives will share information about the current projects the County and the city are working on to reduce impacts from sea level rise. Find out the set times for each topic and guest speaker here, Agenda.
The event will include a guided walk along the bay trail to see the king tide’s peak height of 8.59 feet at 11:49 am!
We will also talk about the Snap the Tides, See the Future Photo Contest.
Refreshments, coffee, and bagels will provided. Please remember to bring your personal mug.
