Thank you to everyone who attended the Sea Change SMC Shoreline Protection and Sea Level Rise Solutions Workshop in September. For those of you who could not attend, you can find the presentations and other meeting materials on the project website.
Our goals for the second stakeholder workshop on November 28, 2018 are to:
- Present trade-offs between nature-based strategies and “grey” or “hard” strategies.
- Review the diverse benefits provided by different nature-based strategies (including those we identified together in September).
- Explore how these results might inform decision-making within our communities.
- Discuss additional information, resources, and actions needed to implement these and other similar strategies across the five OLUs.
